Family Services sometimes with Communion are held
every week at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday mornings using modern
ecumenical forms of worship.... Through the summer months
we have services of Evening Prayer at 6.30 p.m. using the
traditional Book of Common Prayer and the English
Hymnal. All of our evening services and most of our
morning services are led by Ordained and Licensed Lay
Ministers....
St Giles is an Anglican Church in the Parish of the Watling
Valley, situated in the west flank of Milton Keynes. We are
in the Archdeaconry of Buckingham, in the Diocese of
Oxford. It has been described as an “Anglican Peculiar”, for
years this Church stood by itself in the middle of fields, the
village of Tattenhoe having disappeared long ago. The
present church buildings date from 1540 though it is
thought that a church stood here as long ago as 1100. It
has been derelict many times, restored and kept going by a
succession of churchwardens.
